In the United States, Sojitz provides energy solutions through its various mechanical and electrical contractor subsidiaries with special focus on energy conservation that saves customers money while reducing CO2 emissions. Sojitz also owns independent power projects in the U.S., Mexico, and Chile that include solar, wind, and thermal generation assets. Especially in the U.S., the challenges posed by aging infrastructure, electrification (EVs, heat pumps etc.), and booming AI related data center consumption are causing a surge in demand for mechanical and electrical construction and maintenance services.
